On the programme for Tuesday and Wednesday:
In the age of the troubadours, song resonated across all social classes. We have inherited musical scores, poems, biographies and even the ‘Reasons’ explaining the creation of the songs, but also numerous stereotypes.

Joel Sitbon and Pascal Caumont breathe new life into all this, drawing inspiration from the sonic energy of music passed down through oral tradition, to bring the troubadours’ songs to life.

Thursday and Friday’s programme:
The Albada trio continually traces the course of the waters – by turns peaceful and turbulent – of the Pyrenees and the Haut-Languedoc. They return to the source of the vast Occitan oral heritage with their trademark style: music that showcases harmonic and polyphonic vocals.
