BAL TRAD PRADEL

Pradel takes us back to an era when the popular musicians of the bals musettes embraced new instruments whilst retaining their style, rhythm and dances.

With Pradel, the accordion becomes the king of instruments, whilst the saxophone takes the crown; and the duo, as the forerunners of the ‘musette’ sound we know today, delight in blending repertoires, moving from a bourrée to a mazurka, from a ronde to a paso.

This marks the return of the ‘jâse’ aesthetic to the vast world of traditional music. Pradel acts as the keystone of a bridge that we all too rarely cross.
