NUIT DES MUSÉES A LA CHAPELLE DES CARMELITES

A little-known place, yet this chapel is a real nugget. Look up to admire its magnificent ceilings, inspired by the Sistine Chapel and painted in the late 17th century by Jean-Pierre Rivals, the most productive painter of the period. His work was completed by his successor Jean-Baptiste Despax.
