LE NOUVEAU PRINTEMPS (WEEK-END D’OUVERTURE)

Rossy de Palma's association with the 2026 edition of Nouveau Printemps means that the opening weekend will be one of artistic effervescence, where words, performances, music and dance converge.

To inaugurate the exhibitions, the festival is first celebrating guest artists, with performances by Pilar Albarracin, Ernesto Artillo, Dalilda Dalléas Bouzar, Rossy de Palma and their accomplices. Dancers, choreographers, flamenco and fandango singers join the festival: Inka Romani, La Chachi, Maui. And other magical figures emerge: Ahmed Umar.

In the heart of the Jardin Michelet and the Centre Culturel Bonnefoy, these are two original family evenings, celebrating the furiously free memories of bodies that dance and sing, between folklore and artistic dissidence. These highlights are complemented by special events: a meeting with Rossy de Palma at the Cinémathèque de Toulouse to launch her 8-screen carte blanche, a radio programme with the artists and curators of the exhibitions at the Institut Cervantes, programmes echoing Danses interdites at the Médiathèque José Cabanis and the Abattoirs: Let's dance!
