About
The Cité de l'espace is organising an exceptional open day to mark the departure of Sophie
to the International Space Station (ISS). To mark the occasion, all
exhibitions, events and shows at the Cité de l'espace are open free of charge (registration required).
Watch the launch of the εpsilon mission, with commentary by personalities and experts from Europe's space industry. Members of the ESA (European Space Agency) or CNES, they are among the teams that prepared Sophie Adenot for her departure.
They decipher the stages leading up to lift-off, as well as the objectives and challenges of this exceptional mission. Exceptional in particular because of its duration (8 or 9 months), which will make Sophie Adenot the first European to spend so much time in space.
You'll also be able to catch up with guests throughout the day as footage of the lift-off is re-broadcast.
Good to know:
- Admission is free with registration. Tickets will be checked at the entrance.
- If the take-off is postponed, the Cité de l'espace will reschedule the free event on the new date.
